what are the types of delayed puberty

A

normal/decreased LH/FSH

  • constitutional delay (most common, often familial, short stature, delayed bone age)
  • chronic illness (CF, AN)
  • endocrine (hypopituitrism, hyperprolactinaemia)

increased LH/FSH
- primary gonadal failure
(Turners, Klinefelters, chemo, irradiation)
