What is a non-contact force?
A non-contact force is a force which acts on an object without coming physically in contact with it.
How do you measure forces ?
Forces can be measured using a force meter, also called a newton meter.
what does gravitational force depend on?
The strength of the gravitational force between two objects depends on two factors, mass and distance.
State the equation to calculate the weight of an object?
The weight of an object is defined as the force of gravity on the object and may be calculated as the mass times the acceleration of gravity, w = mg. Since the weight is a force, its SI unit is the newton.
