A
Moves a business to a stake where stakeholders are prepared to undergo change.
Things done in this step:
- prepare business for change
- remove the resistance to change
- motivate and prepare stakeholders for change.
- survey the driving and resisting forces.

Change step
A
Moves a business toward the desired state
To do this:
- New processes or practises are introduced.
- give support, counselling and training to employees
- empower staff to be actively involved
- celebrate short term wins

Refreeze step
A
Ensures the change is sustainable within the business for the long term.
to do:
- new policies introduced to reinforce new culture
- Develop new job descriptions
- recognise and reward employees who have made a change.
