5 Galatians-Titus Flashcards
Galatians 2:20
I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
Galatians 3:23-25
Before this faith came, we were held prisoners by the law, locked up until faith should be revealed.24So the law was put in charge to lead us to Christthat we might be justified by faith.25Now that faith has come, we are no longer under the supervision of the law.
Galatians 3:27-26
… all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. 26For you are allsons of God through faith inChrist Jesus.
Galatians 4:6
Because you are sons,God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying, “Abba! Father!”
Galatians 5:5
For wethrough the Spirit,by faith, arewaiting for the hope of righteousness.
Galatians 5:16
So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature.
Galatians 5:22-23
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,23gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
Ephesians 2:8-9
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—9not by works, so that no one can boast.
Ephesians 5:31-32
For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and will be cleaved to his wife, and the two will exist as one flesh; 32 this is a great mystery, but I am speaking in regard to Christ and the Church
Ephesians 6:14-17
Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place,15and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.16In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.17Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
Philippians 2:3-11
Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves.4Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others. 5 Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: 6 Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, 7 but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death— even death on a cross! 9 Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Philippians 2:14-15
Do everything without complaining or arguing,15so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe
Philippians 3:8-11
What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ9and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ—the righteousness that comes from God and is by faith.10I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death,11and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead.
Philippians 3:20-21
Butour citizenship is in heaven, andfrom it weawait a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,21who will transformour lowly bodyto be like his glorious body,by the power that enables him evento subject all things to himself.
Philippians 4:6-7
do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplicationwith thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.7Andthe peace of God,which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
