What is the Future Perfect Tense used to mean?
“…to describe what will have happened in the future before a different action takes place or by a specific time.”
How is the FPT used for ‘likelihood’ or ‘supposition’?
The future perfect tense can often be translated as “must have” - “may have” - or “might have” to refer to something that has already occurred
How is the FPT used in the negative for ‘likelihood’ or ‘supposition’?
The future perfect forms in the negative a sort of rhetorical statement or question. In other words, the statement or question becomes less speculative and assumes agreement by the listener.
