Lowest Common Multiple - write both numbers out then find their lowest common prime factor, then divide both numbers by it. With the two new numbers, repeat the instructions until you’re left with all prime numbers . Multiply the prime numbers and you’re left with the LCM

Highest Common Factor - write the given numbers as a product of their prime factors. Find the common numbers in them and write those as a product. Multiply them and you’re left with the HCF of those numbers.
