  • Immunocompromised?
  • Other GI conditions?
    • Just because patient has IBS DON’T rule out infection

Travel Histroy

  • Where, when, how long?

  • Animal contact?

Drug History

  • Recent antibiotics
  • PPIs
  • Laxatives
  • Immunosupressant medication

Social History

  • Occupation
