Q

What are the three permanent magnet types:

A
  • Natural:Magnets that occur in nature
  • Artifical:Magnets, humans artifically made, via induction
  • Celestial:Celestial bodies with a magnet field due to their core.Protects the celestial body from radiation.

Q

Define

Induction

A

When a magnetic metal becomes a magnet , via the seperation of electrons from the protons. This makes an induced magnet which will last a sort period

Q

Define

Permanent magnet

A

A magnet in which the electrons will stay seperated, even after their induction. They can only happen on ferrous metals, and can be demagnetised , only with huge force.
