Recurrent, intense sexually arousing fantasies/urges/behaviors other than genital stim or prepatory fondling for at least 6 mo
Problematic: cause distress/impairment, or entailed risk of harm to self/others
More common in men, chronic, onset before 18

A. Over 6mo, recurrent/intense sex fantasies/urges/behavior in assoc with 4/5 of:
- great deal of time consumed by urges
- repetitive engaging when in dysphoric mood states
- repetitively engaging when in stressful life events
- unsuccessful efforts to control
- disregarding the risk of physical/emotional harm to self/others
