How big is the heart?
The heart is as big as the size of our fist.
What kind of muscle is the heart made out of?
The heart is made out of special muscle.
What is the heart’s job?
Its job is to pump blood through your body.
What is “circulation”?
“Circulation” is when the heart pumps blood through the body.
How many sides does the heart have?
The heart has two sides.
What does the left side of the heart do?
The left side of the heart pumps blood that contains oxygen all around the body.
What does the right side of the heart do?
The right side of the heart pumps blood without oxygen to the lungs only.
What did the blood flows around the body in?
Blood flows around the body in the blood vessels.
Where did the blood vessels travel to?
Blood vessels run from the heart to the lungs, around the body and back to the heart.
What did the heart carry to all parts of the body?
The blood carries food and oxygen to all parts of the body.
Where did the heart send the waste products to after it picks up them?
The heart also picks up waste products from the body and carries them to organs which can get rid of them. The kidneys and lungs are two of these organs.
There are 3 parts that play a major part in the circulatory system. What are they?
They are the heart, blood vessels and blood from the circulatory system.
