Unit load devises (ULD’s) which come in varying sizes
How are ULD’s moved into place ?
Using ball mats to manoeuvre and turn the ULD’s and power drive units to move the ULD’s along the guide rails
Where are PDU’s installed ?
On the floor
How are the roller tracks prevented from corrosion ?
Connected to drainage systems
What happens to spring lift rotatable PDU’s when they are not needed ?
They will retract into the housing and power is removed
What do X-Y latches do ?
They stop the ULD’s from moving along the longitudinal axis
What do Y-Z latches do ?
They stop the ULD’s from moving along the lateral axis
