Why is Jesus important to Christians?
He is the son of god, redeemer, the new messiah, the saviour of the world and someone to look up to.
What are the parts of the Holy Trinity?
God the father
God the son
God the Holy Spirit
State details on each part of the Holy Trinity
God the father - Creator of the universe, father of Jesus and loving father of all people, addressed as our father.
God the Son - Jesus, has always existed and became human for a time shows the loving side of God.
God the Holy Spirit - Can take any form, the giver of life, lives in people who believe in God, comforts people.
Why is the creation story important?
It explains and shows how the world was created and shows all of the characteristics of God.
What are the 4 characteristics of God?
Omnipotent - all powerful
Omniscient - all knowing
Omnipresent - everywhere
Benevolent - Loving and Kind
What is the resurrection?
The belief that Jesus rose from the dead after he was crucified and spent time with his disciples and then ascended to heaven.
What does Salvation mean?
It means forgiveness of the sins humans commit , Jesus performed the ultimate sacrifice - he died to forgive human sins.
Why did Jesus preform the ultimate sacrifice?
So that humans could live new ‘clean’ lives without any wrongdoings.
