Participants - guards and prisoners’
method- Intended to last two weeks but only went for 8 days. Putting men into groups of guards and prisoners’ to watch the behavior change with status and power.
results - ethical principles were breached and experiment was shut down after 8 days. It found that behavior changed when guards help the power and the identities of the prisoners’ were stripped and seen as nothing.
